Project Profile

Taman Jesselton

The house is not visible from the road. The narrow steep driveway walled in on either side by the neighbours’ lofty gardens, allows only a peek at the courtyard garden below. A Bomanite Roman Cobblestone pattern was suggested for the steep driveway to provide good traction and negate the effects of the gradient. A feature paving in exposed aggregate was “engraved” on the Bomanite imprinted concrete background to overcome the site conditions that did not permit a near perfect saw-cut alignment. It was a huge design pay-off!
